POR_AME_REQ_WF_PVT.GET_NEXT_APPROVERS: ORA-20230: An Invalid Approver Encountered when Approving a Requisition (Doc ID 1949412.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to approve purchase requisitions using the Approval Management Engine (AME) the requisitions are returned in status Incomplete and no approver can be found.

The following error is reported in the WF_Debug (wf_debug can be collected following instructions from <note 1103068.1>):

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate from the Purchasing Responsibility to Requisitions > Requisitions.
2. Create a requisition and submit it for approval.
3. The requisition is returned in status Incomplete and no approver can be found.
