Some Attributes Are Not Getting Copied When Using Multi-Item Create From Copy Item (Doc ID 1949583.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Product Hub - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On :  12.1.3 version, Catalog items

Actual Behavior
When using multi-item create from copy in Advanced Product Catalog, some of the attribute values from the source item are not getting copied.

Some attributes are getting set to the default value defined for the attribute.

Expected Behavior
Expect that all attribute values are copied from the source item

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigation path: Development Manager->Item Catalog->Create Production Items

2. Enter:
Create = 'Copies of Existing Item'
Select Item = 'item number'
Number of Items = '2' [Or more]

3. Apply Template

4. Find that each 'Multiple' item is missing some expected attribute values.

The same types of issues are occurring for every example attempted where Multi-Item create from copy is used.  Issue is not seen when using Single Item create from copy.
