Symptoms

Unable to end date Application Diagnostics responsibility for an user on security user define form  after applying HR RUP7 ( Patch 18004477 - R12.HR_PF.B.DELTA.7 (HRMS 12.1 RUP7) (Doc ID 1636758.1) ); and Finance RCP1.

1. It is happening in the instances where HR RUP7 and RCP1 have been applied.
2. It only appeared after RUP7 and RCP1 was applied.
3. This feature J(end dating a responsibility for an user) was working before the patches were applied.

Upon end dating the Application Diagnostics responsibility for an user on security user define form:

Oracle error 20001:Ora-20001:APP-FND-01972:error in FND_USER_RESP_GROPUS_API.Update_Assignment:cannot update this row because there is no direct assignment of the user XXXX to the role FND_RESP|FND|APPLICATION_DIAGNOSTIC

Changes

Applied HR RUP7 ( Patch 18004477 - R12.HR_PF.B.DELTA.7 (HRMS 12.1 RUP7) (Doc ID 1636758.1) ); and Finance RCP1.
