Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Budgeting & Forecasting

When attempting to create a new budget and baseline it,
the following error occurs.

Project: 76010; Task: CUSTOM DEVELOPMENT; Resource Name: LABOR - REGULAR; Start Date: 03/23/2016; End Date: 03/23/2016; The periods that fall between the planning start date and end date for this line are missing or are not defined. Please contact your system administrator.

Project: 76010; Task: SERVICES - TRAVEL; Resource Name: TRAVEL EXPENSES; Start Date: 03/23/2016; End Date: 03/23/2016; The periods that fall between the planning start date and end date for this line are missing or are not defined. Please contact your system administrator.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
On SSWA:
1) Create a Project from Template
2) Assign Cost Budget to Tasks
3) Baseline the Budget. Get the error.
