PIM Item Simple Search Does Not Return Results (Doc ID 1953747.1)

Symptoms

When conducting an Item Simple Search in Product Information Management (PIM), a search for an existing item is not returning a result.
However, an Advanced Search for the same item may return a result.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Navigate: Development Manager > Item Catalog > Item Simple Search
  2. Enter an item and search
  3. No result is displayed
