HTTP 500 Internal Server Error Testing Mobile Apps Install With Connections.xml file

Information in this document applies to any platform.


On release 12.1.3  following  <Document 1642431.1>.  After applying the patches to implement Mobile Apps there is a step to test the installation by launching the following url in a browser on the PC:

http(s)://<hostname>:<port>/OA_HTML/config/<application bundle id>/connections.xml





This step fails with the following error:

HTTP 500 Internal Server Error

The error comes instead of showing the connections.xml file.


 Applied patches to install Mobile Apps and did the configuration steps per the note.
