GLBALFIX: When Input Parameters Contain Special Characters The Script Fails with "Error 1" OR "Error 3" (Doc ID 1958420.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.


GLBALFIX errors for any input parameter that contains special characters.
For example, entering the ledger name or period name in Arabic may error with the following errors for ledger name or period name:

Error 1: The set of books name provided isn't a set of books name that is defined on the system.                                    
Balance corruption fix program aborted.

Error 3: The start period provided either doesn't exist, isn't opened, or has a period number less than 1 or greater than the maximum number of periods per year.
Balance corruption fix program aborted.
