Order Releases Are Planning Past The Late Delivery Date When Using Multi Leg Itineraries (Doc ID 1958702.1)

Last updated on JULY 20, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Management - Version 6.3.3 to 6.3.6 [Release 6.3]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

There is an Order release with Late Delivery Date defined. The expectation is to plan this order release to an multi leg ground schedule.
Notice that the value from parameter "ORDER WINDOW TIME SPAN" gets added to the Late Delivery Date during planning to find a schedule instance. This is causing the
Late Delivery Date to be violated.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a two leg ground schedule.
2. Create an Order release with Late Delivery Date such that it is lower than that of the second leg schedule instance.
3. Plan the order.
