Self Service (Oracle Application Framework) Batch Element Entry - Validation Giving Error "Invalid Date Format"

Error is received when attempting to validate a BEE batch via Self Service. If the element has an input value with date format, the following error occurs.

"Invalid Date Format"

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps.
1. In Manager Self-Service, create Batch for element with an input value with date format
2. Enter batch lines with dates included
3. Submit for validation
4. Get batch line error
5. View Results : Error Text = "Invalid Date Format"
