On : 12.1.3 version, Core HR - General
When a Position A have been given to an Assignment. Using Datetrack, user make an update in the future giving the Assignment Position B.
User then Eliminate Position A and Delete the Future changes for the Assignment removing the Position B.
This result Position A continue to be valid for the Assignment even though the Position is Eliminated
Expect the system at some point to let user know the Position is not valid
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create the following Positions :
Alan Tam Administrator.ALA
Commercial Sales Manager.ALA2
2. Create the following person :
Abi Jackson Emp no. - 1521
3. Datetrack - 01-APR-2014
Give the Employee Position - Alan Tam Administrator.ALA
4. Datetrack - 01-OCT-2014
Give the Employee Position - Commercial Sales Manager.ALA2
5. Datetrack - 01-OCT-2014
Make 'update' and set Position - Alan Tam Administrator.ALA - Eliminated
6. Datetrack - 01-SEP-2014
Delete ALL future changes
7. Datetrack - 04-OCT-2015
Query for the Employee.
Check the Position - Alan Tam Administrator.ALA
System show Position Eliminated
