Transaction Saved and Transferred to GL Without Entering Required Descriptive Flexfield (DFF) Information (Doc ID 1959866.1)

On : 12.2.2 version, Transactions Related

Able to save a transaction, without entering the required Descriptive Flexfield (DFF) information, in the Line Distribution Information Flexfield.

Responsibility:  Receivables Manager
Navigation:   Transactions > Transactions
Setup > Financials > Descriptive > Segments
Steps to reproduce:
1. Navigation:   Setup > Financials > Descriptive > Segments
   Setup Line Distribution Information descriptive flexfield so it will be displayed and required, ie:
   Freeze checked
   Context field block
   Displayed checked
   Required  checked
   Synchronize with Reference field - unchecked
   Context Value ADMIN_GLOBAL Enabled
   Segments window
   Three segments
   All segments displayed and enabled
2.  Navigation:   Transactions > Transactions
   a) Enter new Invoice
   b) Save and Complete
       No errors
