R12: AP: Retainage Is Not Releasing From The Invoices (Doc ID 1961120.1)

Symptoms

• Retainage not releasing from the invoice after creating retainage release invoice and matching to multiple invoices
• Matching a retainage release type invoice to multiple invoices does not release the retainage.
• If only one invoice match to one PO, the retainage release invoice can be released from that invoice without problem.
• Unable to create a 'Retainage Release invoice for a PO shipment (with multiple distributions) matched to multiple invoices

fnd log has:

AP.PLSQL.AP_RETAINAGE_RELEASE_PKG.Create_Release_Distributions Step 6: Insert
Retainage Release Distributions: Count: 3
AP.PLSQL.AP_RETAINAGE_RELEASE_PKG.Create_Release_Distributions Error:
ORA-00001: unique constraint (AP.AP_INVOICE_DISTRIBUTIONS_U1) violated

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
The invoices created and applied to a PO, based on the retainage setup the invoices are deducted retainage. We created the retainage release invoice and matching the invoices retainage but not releasing from the invoice.
