Unable to Autocreate Delivery or Ship Confirm a Delivery for Staged/Pick Confirmed Delivery Detail (Doc ID 1961867.1)

Symptoms

Have a couple of scenarios where autocreating a delivery or ship confirming a delivery cannot be done even when the delivery detail is in status Staged/Pick Confirmed.

Scenario 1:
Delivery detail is Staged/Pick Confirmed and assigned to an open delivery.
When attempting to ship confirm the delivery, get the following warning:

Warning: Some deliveries selected for Ship Confirm have errors or warnings.
Warning: Delivery details xxxxxx in this delivery do not satisfy inventory controls.

Warning: The Ship Confirm option selected will unassign all the lines from delivery xxxxxxx. 

 

Scenario 2:
Delivery detail is Staged/Pick Confirmed and not assigned to a delivery.
When attempting to autocreate a delivery for the detail, get the following error: 

Error: This action cannot be performed on all selected records.

Error: The action can not be performed because the selected records could not be locked.
