Moblie Field Service - Task DFF With Value Set On MFS Multi-Platform Shows Only The Description (Doc ID 1962035.1)

Last updated on JULY 14, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Mobile Field Service - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, General / Laptop

Actual Behavior

When using a Value Set in "Tasks additional information" DFF in Mobile Field Service it does not behave the same way as it does in the enterprise Application. In Mobile Field Service the translated value appears only if there is no Description. If there is a description then only  that appears and no translated value is shown.

Expected Behavior

Expect to see the DFF behave consistently between the Enterprise and Mobile Applications.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Create a Value Set with the columns "Value", "Translated Value" populated and the "Description" column populated only for some rows.
  2. Reference the Value Set in the DFF.
  3. Populating the DFF in the Enterprise Application the Translated Value is in the LOV and the Description can be seen on the right.
  4. In Mobile Field Service the translated value appears only if there is no Description. If there is a description then only that appears and no translated value is shown.
