Symptoms

On : 12.1 HRMS RUP7 version, BasicDet,Address,Phone,Contact

When attempting to update a Contact within Employee Self Service (SSHR), the following error occurs.

java.lang.ClassCastException: oracle.apps.fnd.framework.webui.beans.form.OAFormValueBean cannot be cast to oracle.apps.fnd.framework.webui.beans.message.OAMessageChoiceBean



Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Log-in as employee.
2. Navigate using the Employee Self Service responsibility
3. Update
4. Personal Information
2. Click on Update Contact.
Error is encountered.



Changes

  Upgrade from 11i to R12.1.3 RUP7.
