How to use the Install Base - Counter Readings Open Interface program to purge successfully process records from the CSI_CTR_READINGS_INTERFACE and CSI_CTR_READ_PROP_INTERFACE tables

Using the Counter Readings Open Interface
Page 13-3 says: If you want the processed records to be cleared from the interface tables after processing, select Yes for Purge Processed Records.

From this it could be expected that once the records in the CSI_CTR_READINGS_INTERFACE table have been processed successfully they will be removed from the interface table. In fact this is not how the program works.
