Duplicate Asset Numbers Created In eAM Due to User Entry - OAT 'Post Mass Additions' Concurrent Process Not Working - OAT Not Installed (Doc ID 1963318.1)

When attempting to enter Fixed Asset (FA) information in the 'Define Asset Numbers' form, the following error occurs.  Duplicate asset numbers as created as a result.

Update procedure failed with the following error message.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Navigation:  Enterprise Asset Management >> Asset Numbers >> Asset Numbers

1. Search for an Asset Serial Number

2. Click on the 'Others' TAB

3. Fixed Asset information is missing within the 'Others' TAB.

4. Select the Fixed Asset Number value from the LOV and save

5. Error occurs

9. Search for the Asset Serial Number again.  Note that there are duplicate records now.

Navigation:  Maintenance Super User >> Assets >> Capital

10. Search for the Asset Number created in the steps above

11. Two Assets are displayed.

The issue has the following business impact:

Due to this issue, users cannot maintain assets efficiently since duplicate assets exist.
