12.1.3 Unable To Reconcile Journal Line to Multiple Statement Lines

Goal
When reconciling a Bank Statement Line, choosing a Journal Line which is inclusive of all activities for the month.
Multiple Statement Lines need to be reconciled to one journal line.
When choosing Available transactions and selecting, am unable to change the Amount Cleared. Choosing the 'Recaluculate' button performs no action as well.
Example:
Statement Line 1 on statement 11-Nov-14 = 100,000
Statement line 4 on statement 14-Nov-14 = 300,000
One journal entry line created for 400,000
When reconciling Statement Line 1 is defaulting to full 400,000 and am unable to change amount cleared to 100,000.
