Last updated on MAY 01, 2024

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Receiving error when updating item status

When trying to update item status in Advanced Product Catalog (APC, also known as Product Information Managment (PIM) and Product Data Hub (PDH)), either via WebADI upload or directly in PIM html pages or in Oracle java forms, receive following error message:

‘IOI error(s) occurred, but no records found in MTL_INTERFACE_ERRORS table’

Via WebADI upload: Receive 'Concurrent request number nnnnnn is successfully launched; nn rows successfully uploaded'.
But when checking the log file of the items that were uploaded, it says it completed successfully for both Master organization (org) and Validation org; but clearly the Validation org is not updating.

Via manual method in HTML PIM form: receive the error ‘IOI error(s) occurred, but no records found in MTL_INTERFACE_ERRORS table’ when updating item status for validation Org. Master Org update of item status works fine.
