Requisition Linked To Purchase Order Using Purchasing Documents Open Interface PDOI -l Requisition Is Still Available For Autocreate (Doc ID 1966943.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 07, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Purchasing - Version 12.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.2.4 version, Purchasing Processes

Actual:
Using PDOI, Requisition lines are linked to PO.
req_distribution_id is updated in PO distributions. But PO line locations id is not updated in the corresponding requisition lines.
So these Requisition lines which are already linked to PO using PDOI are still available for autocreate.
and does not have corresponding PO reference.

Expected:
Requisition lines which are already linked to PO using PDOI should not be available for autocreate.
and should have the corresponding PO reference.

Replication Steps:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. create and approve requisition.
2. populate the po interface table to create / update the PO linking these requisition lines using PDOI
3. Run the PDOI.
4. Check the PO created. PO distributions have the corresponding requisition details.
5. But these requisition lines are still available for autocreate.
