R 12.2.4 With Internet Explorer 9 Screens Freeze When Opening LOV On Self Service Pages (Doc ID 1968710.1)

Issue is our IE9 defaults to Browser Mode: IE9, Document Mode: IE9 Standards which causes the screen freeze with LOVs on Self Service pages.

Using IE9
Functionality Administrator responsibility:
Click on Set LOV under Security:
Minimize Browser so you're left with the LOV popup.
Close X the LOV popup.
Click on Internet Explorer icon in Taskbar to restore the browser and the screen as lost focus. Attempt to click the Set LOV and nothing happens.
Mouse does not work on any items on the page.

You can still tab through the screen to eventually regain focus.

For popup LOVs to retain focus on the self-service pages we need to set the Document Mode to IE8 Standards using the Developer Tools in IE9.

The settings that appear to work are Browser Mode: IE9 along with Document Mode: IE8 Standards.

Determined that this Document mode issue only occurs when profile option "Oracle Applications Look and Feel" is set to Skyros Look and Feel which is the 12.2.4 default.
