Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, ECO

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When revising items in Oracle via the Engineering Change Orders, placing an item into the Revised Items section and adding in the new revision causes the item to become listed as effective at this new revision, even if the Engineering Change Order has not been Implemented.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
When revising items in Oracle via the Engineering Change Orders, placing an item into the Revised Items section and adding in the new revision, item should be not available as effective at this new revision.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Go into ECO form and query for ECO
  2. ECO Revised Items
  3. The ECO is still open.
  4. Inventory Item shows the revision as L for this ECO. But the ECO is not implemented and also implementation date is null in the item revision field.


BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
This allows the creation of Purchase Orders of the Item at the revised revision, even before it the new revision is released in Oracle.
