When Upload Webadi Journals for Adjustment Period Get "Accounting Date is not a Business Day and will be rolled by Journal Import" And Journal Import Fails with EP01 (Doc ID 1970210.1)

WebADI Journals are not getting imported for an Adjustment Period.
Jun-14 is the year end period that runs from 02-Jun-2014 to 29-Jun-2014. This period is closed.
Adj-14 is the adjusting period for 29-Jun-2014. This period is open.
When upload a journal with accounting date 29-Jun-2014, get the following errors:-

ERROR
In Webadi:
Warning: Accounting Date is not a Business Day and will be rolled by Journal Import

In Journal Import:
EP01 This date is not in any open or future enterable period.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. try to upload and import a journal from webadi to an adjustment period

WORKAROUND
Re-open the non adjustment period in which the accounting date falls.
