Recurring Marketing Activity Not Initiated After Scheduling Repeated Activity

After Creating an email Campaign Activity and scheduling it to recur every week, it initiates the activity with status 'New' instead of 'Active'.
Activity should repeat automatically each week without any status change but it is not sending.

1. Marketting user ->Campaign Dashbpoard->Create Activity
2, Schedule for 1 week in repeating ->Generate List->Activate the activity
3. Manually need to change the status to Available as it goes to Locked.
