Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Ireland Pay

When processing the payroll for an employee over age of 70 years old, but earning less that 60k, the USC calculated is incorrect:

Currently the calculation is:

1001 @ 1.5% = 15.01
507 @ 3.5% = 17.75
Total = 32.76

EXPECTED

This should be
1001 @ 1.5% = 15.01
464 @ 3.5% = 16.24
43 @ 7% = 3.01
Total = 34.26

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. From IE HRMS Manager
2. Process a quickpay for an employee that meets the required conditions
3. Check the USC calculated, via the employees SOE.
