Symptoms


When attempting to Schedule RLM Releases which error out with Error :: The Process Order API returned following error
Release Management schedule releases errors out for items where item qty do not match from the release to the sales
orders (for existing sales order lines). it errors out. This error can be consistently reproduced at will.

OBSERVATION
All the releases which have qty difference between release and sales orders errors out. The customer usually changes the
qty between previous release to current release. We have many items that get errored out. This is happening in Production
system

ERROR
Error :: The Process Order API returned the following error for Item 9999999 and request date 2015/01/05 00:00:00 :
The order date type is "Arrival". Schedule ship date can't be manually changed. Schedule ship date can be recalculated
if you change request date or schedule arrival date.


STEPS
1. Responsibility: Release Management
2. Open Release Management Workbench --> Public Queries--> Schedules With Error --> Click on one of the schedules errors.
  Error:: The order date type is "Arrival". Schedule ship date can't be manually changed. Schedule ship date can be recalculated
  if you change request date or schedule arrival date.
