T4 PDF Erroring with 'Java.io.FileNotFoundException Directory Name (Is A Directory)' (Doc ID 1986956.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1 HRMS RUP7 version, in all instances,

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When running the Employee T4 PDF process, it is observed that XML data is produced, but no PDF is generated.

The PDF Document Stream printing subprocess is not launching and the following error occurs.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

It is expected that the process creates both XML and PDF output

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Complete the setup as per <Note 562882.1> - Oracle Human Resources (HRMS) Setup For US, CA and MX Legislations Payroll PDF Reports
2. Run the Employee T4 PDF process
3. Observe that XML output is created but not PDF output
4. The following error is seen on the log file:
[EXCEPTION] java.io.FileNotFoundException
