On : 12.2 version, Migration Issues 11i to R12
Currently in the process of migrating OPM 11i to R12.
For all locations that are 13 characters or longer for an OPM warehouse migrated as a subinventory the migration script is prefixing the location with the subinventory code.
Plant - AAA
OPM Warehouse - AAA1 -----AA1 discrete org
OPM Location RECEIVING INSP
Migrate plant AAA as existing organization AA1
Migration OPM warehouse AAA1 as subinventory
Migration script is trying to prefix the OPM location RECEIVING INSP as AAA1 RECEIVING INSP which goes over the 16 max character length in IC_LOCT_MST table and the following error is shown in the migration log:
Unexpected Location :AAA1 RECEIVING INSP:ORA-20001: OPM-0: Location 'AA1-AAA1 RECEIVING INSP' : value AAA1 RECEIVING INSP for col Location is longer than max 16
