Last updated on NOVEMBER 25, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Mobile Field Service - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : 12.1.3 version, Multiplatform Android General

On the mobile device, when Problem Code is selected and Task Status changed, save and sync.
The changes are seen on the EBS form.
Task Status updated.
Problem Code is updated.
but when look into the JTF_TASK_AUDITS_B table, there is no task status history.

If the Task Status is changed without the Problem Code and sync.
The changes are seen on the EBS form.
Task Status updated.
and the JTF_TASK_AUDITS_B table will have the history.

Expect that even with the Problem Code update, that the Task Status change will be reflected in the JTF_TASK_AUDITS_B table

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. On mobile device.
2. Change Problem Code.
3. Save.
4. Change Task Status.
5. Save.
6. Sync.
7. Go to EBS from.
8. See Problem Code and Task Status in the mobile
9. Look at jtf_task_audits_b table, do not see New Task Status in table.
10.For the same test without using Problem Code the jtf_task_audits_b table will have New Task Status history.

This issue was found to be caused by some custom code..But after removing the custom code, still randomly having Problem Code not updated in the Server for some tasks.
