20405450: Order Acknowledgement (XML) (OEXOEACK_XML) Won't Print Both Header And Footer Attachments (Doc ID 1990065.1)

Last updated on MARCH 08, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Order Management - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Product Utilities

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Sales Order Acknowledgement (XML) (OEXOEACK_XML) won't print both Header and Footer attachments.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect that the Sales Order Acknowledgement (XML) (OEXOEACK_XML) print both Header and Footer attachments at the same time, like the Sales Order Acknowledgement (OEXOEACK) report does.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Order Management Responsibility

2. Create a sales order.

3. Create a 'short text' attachment to print on Header and Footer section of 'Sales Order Acknowledgment'
Seq 10, Category: Sales Order Footer Text, Short Text: "Sales Order Footer Text"
Seq 20, Category: Sales Order Header Text, Short Text: "Sales Order Header Text"

4. Reports, Request > Reports > Run the Sales Order Acknowledgement (XML) report > output prints only the Footer attachment
(Note that the XML report only prints the first sequence of the attachment. If I change the Header attachment to be the first one in the sequence then the Header attachment prints.)

5. Reports, Request > Reports > Run the Sales Order Acknowledgement report > output prints both the Header and Footer attachments.
