Advanced Search With Null Criteria Supporting "IS NULL" Predicate: Enhancement Implemented 12.2 / Backported to 12.1.3

Product Information Management (PIM) does not allow for searching on attributes that are missing (NULL) values.
User is NOT able to search with an attribute with NULL values. In advanced search there is no predicate IS NULL or any special values to search with NULL values.
Suggested / Expected Behavior
User should be able to provide predicate like following:
Add "IS NULL" option (Predicate) in Advanced Search like "Find all items where the Legal Compliance flag is missing".
1. Navigate to Development Manager > Item Catalog > Advanced Search
2. The search criteria appear including
* There is no option to search for NULL values.
Users want to search for all items missing a value like where the supplier name was not yet assigned so they can complete the details. This is not currently possible with the PIM advanced search.
