Last updated on MARCH 22, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Purchasing - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On :  12.1.3 version, General Issues

Using the Approval Management Engine (AME) for Purchase Order (PO) approval, the attribute "PUR COST CENTER" does not work as expected.  When trying to define a condition on this attribute and using it in a Rule, the dynamic attribute returns no data and the Rule does not apply even if it should.  As a result the PO remains Incomplete.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create an AME rule using the attribute PUR COST CENTER.
2. Create an AME PO falling into this rule.
3. The PO cannot be approved and remains Incomplete.
