Performance Issue For Initialize Credit Summaries Table Program (Doc ID 1992760.1)

Last updated on MARCH 30, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Order Management - Version 12.0.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
The Initialize Credit Summaries concurrent program is taking 4+hours to complete.

Oracle Credit Management (OCM) was implemented which requires the Pre-calculated exposure check box to be checked in credit check rule.
With Pre-calculated exposure checked, in credit check rule, the credit check process refers to summary credit data in oe_credit_summaries as opposed to real time transactional data in AR

The summary table is refreshed by running Initialize Credit Summaries which calculates the customer or customer site credit exposure from real time transactional data in AR and then updates and stores it in a summary table OE_CREDIT_SUMMARIES.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Expect the  Initialize Credit Summaries concurrent program to complete within reasonable time.

STEPS
1. Log into the Order Management responsibility
2. Setup > Credit > Initialize Credit Summaries
