Currency Conversion Date For GL Type Transaction Reversed Batch Cannot be Defined (Doc ID 1993499.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle General Ledger - Version 12.2.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When reverse a AGIS batch, user wants to use conversion rate that exists on the Batch date but not the rate from the GL date.

Currently when you reverse an AGIS transaction, the conversion rate date used defaults from the gl_date of the reverse transaction.
User wants the ability to define what conversion date and conversion type is used for the reverse transaction so that they can use the same rate and type
that was used on the original transaction.

The reproducible steps are as follows:
1. AGIS batch is created in Feb-15 period and after it is transferred to GL the period is closed.
2.After Mar-15 period is opened user is reversing the transaction . The system will use the exchange rate of Mar-15 period for reversal but wanted to use exchange rate that exists at the time of original transaction creation
