Problem Description

Need to be able to delete customers/parties after merge. Not doing so will allow the user to reactivate the customer/party and use the same in AR, OM and all other applications. This is not correct because the purpose of merging the customer is to remove the same from the database.

Unable to Delete Customers/Parties After Applying Patch 16917897.  As a result of applying the patch, the user found they had un-processed Third Party Merge events that prevented them from closing the period and they were advised that they were no longer allowed to select the option ’Delete After Merge’ when running customer/party merge.
