Symptoms

After applying patch 19775976, when trying to add a Clob query, the page errors if the query exceeds 4000 characters.  Prior to the patch, the query could exceed 4000 characters.

Query exceeds the maximum allowed value (VARCHAR (4000, -127))


Steps to Reproduce:

Responsibility: Collections Administrator
Navigation
: Manage Queries

  1. Check the Clob query, and try to save a clob > 4000 characters
