Automatic Rebuildable Work Order (WO) NOT Having Prefix (Doc ID 1998580.1)

Last updated on MARCH 08, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Enterprise Asset Management - Version 12.2.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On :  12.2.2 version, while replacing malfunctioned rebuildable asset with another one via Material Issue, an automatic rebuildable work order (WO) is created; this new rebuildable work order does not take the prefix  that was defaulted in EAM parameters.

Expect same behavior as happening when creating a manual rebuildable WO. When creating a manual rebuildable WO. it takes the prefix that was defaulted in parameters

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create WO
2. Issue a rebuildable number to replace an existing rebuildable
3. Enter details about replaced rebuildable > Save
4. A new WO will be created automatically for the replaced WO but the WO number is not using the prefix which was set via EAM Parameters
