Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.2.3 version, Data Collections

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When selecting a planned order to be released and save the Implement Alternate Bom and Implement Alternate Route become active and a LOV is presented against each field in turn with a single record. If the user selects OK to each of the LOVs the user is returned to the Supply Demand form, Orders tab but the Implement Alternate Bom is NULL and the Implement Alternate Route is populated but with the wrong (truncated) value from the LOV. If the user selects Cancel the following error is presented:

FRM-40212: Invalid value for field
IMPLEMENT_ALTERNATE_BOM_RP

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------

Not to be presented with the LOVs when there is only a single alternate bom and alternate route to be used and in fact not to be presented with the LOV unless the user actively chooses to select the LOV from the field Implement Alternate Bom/route. In normal processing checking the For Release and Save should post the values from Alternate Bom and Alternate Route into Implement Alternate Bom and Implement Alternate Route resectively and the users should then be able to proceed to releasing the planned order with no other interaction

STEPS
