Information in this document applies to any platform.
Customer has created multi-row attribute groups. If end user enters the wrong value (outside defined LOV) and clicks on Delete button or Apply Button then user is getting an exception “Select a valid value.” But since there are multiple attributes groups in the page, is not clear which is generating the error.
User is not able to understand which attribute group he has entered wrongly.
Steps to reproduce:
a)Create Value Set 'myVS' --Add Red, White, Green to the value set
b)Create Attribute Group 'myAG' and choose Item Business Entities
Add Attribute 'Color1' to the Attribute Group and specify Value Set 'myVS' to the Attribute
Add Attribute Group 'myAG' to the ICC
Create Item page 'Page1' and add 'myAG' to the page
d)Create Item 'myItm1' with ICC
e)Create CO for this item
f)Open the CO and go to 'Lines/Attributes' tag
Choose Page1 for Attributes field and click 'Update'
Specify 'aaa' for Color1 field and click 'Save'
Gets Error 'Select a valid value.'
Expected error message: 'Color1 - Select a valid value.'
