Questions on Principal Civil Service Scheme Changes April 2015 Technical Brief attached to <Note 1920070.1> Release Schedule for UK Public Sector Legislative patches for tax year 2015/2016

1. APAVCM2 - The PCSPS April 2015 Technical Brief V2 is not clear.
At various points in the Technical Brief, the field APAVCM2 is described as containing added pension for Spouse Only (pages 39 & 66), Member only (pages 60 & 63) and Spouse Only/Member Only (page 32).
Version 5.3 of the Standard Interface Developer Guide is clear that the field is for Members Only added pension.
=> Please confirm that the balance that reports to this field (Pensrv APAVCM2 Contribution) should be fed by the Alpha Added Pension elements.

2. APAVC2 - The Developer Guide states that this field is for Normal Member and Spouse/Partner terms.
a. Please confirm that the balance that reports to this field (Pensrv APAVC2 Contribution) should be fed by the Alpha Added Pension for Dependant elements.
b. Please advise if the Alpha Added Pension for Dependant elements are designed to include both Normal Member and Spouse/Partner contributions or just the Spouse/Partner contributions.
c. If the answer to b above is just Spouse/Partner, then please advise if we also need to feed the balance at a above with the Alpha Added Pension elements to cover off the Member contributions.
