Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Project currency billed amount is incorrect when the exchange rate under the Global rate type (i.e BIS rate type) was being maintained at a different value than the corporate rate for the same currency code.  The Project summarization tables and screens are displaying the wrong values for projects that have transactions entered in a currency different than the project_currency.  As a result, projects that have a project_currency_code different than the transaction currency code as the billing numbers are not correct. Accounting uses the summarization numbers for verifying project data, and therefore, accounting can not validate projects where the project_currency_code different than the transaction currency code.
