Oracle Configurator Runtime Gives FRM-92100 after Upgrading to Java 1.8 (Doc ID 2003402.1)

On : version, on Production

When attempting to return the configuration to OM the following error occurs.

FRM-92100: Your connection to the Server was interrupted.

This may be the result of a network error, or a failure on the Server.
You will need to reestablish your session

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to Order Management responsibility>Orders,Returns>Sales Orders
2.  Query sales order and selectthe line > Click on configurator
3. Close configuration window to get back to sales order form
