R12 Sales Order Auto Pick Confirm Failing For Serial Items In WMS Organization

Scenario: Order with a serial item. On-hand is available in a LPN and the reservation is created at the LPN Level for the SO Line.
Issue: When pick released with Auto Pick Confirm as "Yes", the Pick Wave Move Order is allocated but not Pick Confirmed. Pick Confirm logic is failing to find the serial numbers.
Background on the functionality: This feature/functionality was delivered as a Patch 13471574 in 11i. When upgrading from 184.108.40.206 to R12.2.4 the patched 11i functionality was lost post upgrade.
Expected Functionality: The Auto Pick Confirm for Serial Items in WMS Orgs must behave as it was working in 11i after being patched
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Sales Order with one line having a serialized item
2. Auto Pick Confirm is "Yes"
3. Pick Wave Move Order is allocated but not Pick Confirmed
4. Pick Confirm logic is failing to find the serial numbers.
