CP Delivery Options to a Shared Remote Printer via an IPP Print Server Fails to Print (Doc ID 2003931.1)

Symptoms

When printing to a shared remote Samba (smb) defined printer via an Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) print server from the IPP tab on the Submit Request form, the following Request / OPP log file message occurs and the target printer does not produce any output.

The request completes successfully:

Beginning post-processing of request 92403976 on node XXX-ANOTHER_HOST at 25-MAR-2015 10:23:07.
– Delivering output
Printing output to IPP printer laserjet04

Post-processing of request 92403976 completed at 25-MAR-2015 10:23:08.
