Newly Added Groups in OID OU Tree Not Showing in BIP Application

Symptoms
Added a couple new groups under an OU tree in Oracle Internet Directory (OID), e.g. 11g 11.1.1.7, but the groups are not visible in Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP).
The group entries added can be found and seen with command line ldapsearch correctly.
Also, using the Search function / box in Oracle Directory Services Manager (ODSM) finds the entries, just like ldapsearch does.
Using cn=orcladmin for both, ldapsearch and ODSM authentications.
