Goal

How to use WEBADI WITHOUT enabling 'Trust Access to the VBA project object model' in Excel as documented in <Note: 1077728.1> Microsoft Office Integration with Oracle E-Business Suite 11i and R12


Step 4.1. Microsoft Excel Configuration Requirements for WebADI Integration
To integrate Microsoft Excel with WebADI, make sure the following settings are enabled in Microsoft Excel and Internet Explorer on the users desktop.

Step 4.1.1. Macro Security Settings for  Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Excel 2010 and 2013 Users
1.Click ' File' -> 'Options'
2.Click 'Trust Center' link in the 'Excel Options' window.
3.Click 'Trust Center Settings...' button.
4.In the 'Trust Center' window click 'Macro Settings' link from the menu on the left.
5.Under 'Macro Settings' check 'Disable all macros with notification'.
6.Under 'Developer Macro Settings' check 'Trust Access to the VBA project object model'.
7.Click 'OK' button to close the 'Trust Center' window.
8.Click 'OK' button to return to the spreadsheet.
