In PIM/PDH, UDA Field Is Not Allowing To Enter Full Length Data, Get Error: "You Have Exceeded the Maximum Size" (Doc ID 2004210.1)

Symptoms

UDA field is not allowing to enter full length of data.
A valueset "20 Characters" is attached to a UDA field. But when entering a 20-character value in non-English language, error is seen:

ERROR

"For Attribute 'XXXXX' in Attribute Group 'YYYYY' you have exceeded the maximum size. Please enter maximum of 20."

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Define an attribute group (e.g. Season)-> Define a UDA (e.g. Season Description) -> Attach a value set "20 Characters" to restrict the character length. -> Attach group to ICC
2. Create item in same ICC and enter value for UDA in Non English language to the UDA field.

It will throw error as above.
