We have been experiencing an intermittent issue , where some of new items being created are not being created with the necessary NIR. The NIR is needed for the item to be “official” in PDH. Every time EGOICI completed with warning but we could not understand much at seeing the log file.
This issue was taken up with oracle As a break-fix, oracle suggested some steps which if followed, would generate NIRs against all the items which are currently not tagged to any NIR. The steps involved creating a script to use the API "ENG_Eco_PUB.Process_Eco" to create NIR for items in batch.
We have come up with the script, but once we run the script, it throws the following errors -
"The change type code NEW_ITEM_REQUEST you entered for ECO ECO is invalid."
"This record was not processed since a severe error occurred in the ECO header ECO while performing the value to id conversion for change type code."
It seems the problem is with parameters eco_name and change_type_code. But we are not sure what eco_name and change_type_code should be given here.
