Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Customers Module

Customer Merge is failing with the following error:

ERROR

 ERROR: AR.ARP_CMERGE.merge
  Updating table ar_receivable_applications
  0 row(s) updated

After setting the following profile options:

HZ: Audit Customer Account Merge set to Yes at Site level
HZ: Log Customer Merge set to Yes at Site level
========================================

The error displayed in the Merge output was the following:

ERROR

 ERROR: AR.ARP_CMERGE.merge
  ARP_CMERGE_ARTRX.MERGE()-
  Others Error in insert_full_merge_event ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into
  ("XLA"."XLA_EVENTS_GT"."LEDGER_ID")

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Customer Merge in Receivables
2. Select From and To Customer and merge all sites.

Due to this issue, users cannot run customer merge for records.
