Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Assignment,Term,Pay,ChgMgr,LOA

When attempting to create an Absence in SSHR, the following error occurs.

The approval process Leave of Absence for <Name of Employee> has stopped due to an error and cannot generate a list of approvers. You must fix the error to run the approval process.

Field Transaction Error: 

WF ITEM_TYPE : HRSSA
WF ITEM_KEY : 116337
Transaction Process Name : Leave of Absence
Transaction Owner (Manager) : <Person name>
Approver from which the process has errored : <Person Name>
Error : ORA-20001: Unable to build the Supervisor Hierarchy, no person record exists with the person id XXXX as of sysdate.
Please contact your System Administrator to correct the data issue.

 


Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Responsibility : Employee Self Service
2. Select - Absence Management
3. Create the Absence Request
4. Check Email for the Notification sent by the system.
5. Error is shown
